Meet Brent

Hello, I am Brent Campbell.  My wife and I have lived in Anoka for 9 years.  I recently retired after 37 years as a Lutheran pastor—most recently serving at Zion in Anoka.  After graduating from college, I earned a master’s degree from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, and I served most of my ministry in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

We love Anoka, including its small-town feel, the vibrant downtown, its rich history, scenic parks, and its friendly residents.  It is a wonderful community in which to live, work, and play.  I would like to use the skills that I have developed over a lifetime of serving in a different way— by giving back to the community as a member of the Anoka City Council.

As a good listener and communicator, I would work to bring people together to develop a vision and work toward common goals.
